Introduction
In a rapidly accelerating global FinTech revolution, countries and governments actively explore the multifaceted dynamics of FinTech-enabled financial services. One notable initiative in this regard is the UK India Fintrade project, a collaborative effort between the ESRC in the UK and ICSSR in India. This project brings together researchers from esteemed institutions such as the University of Essex, SOAS, and UCLAN, focusing on understanding the evolution of FinTech-enabled trade and FDI flows between the United Kingdom and India. By analyzing patterns of trade, FDI and ecosystem in FinTech services between these two economies, the project offers important policy implications for governments aiming to foster innovation and growth in the sector.
However, these efforts represent just a glimpse into the broader spectrum of research on FinTech, which spans across regions worldwide.
In light of these developments, we are organizing a conference to bring together expert researchers and practitioners in FinTech. This conference will be an excellent platform for exchanging ideas, sharing insights, and collaborating on cutting-edge research. We invite researchers who have conducted or are currently undertaking studies on FinTech-related questions to join us and present their findings, contributing to advancing our collective understanding of the global FinTech landscape. Together, we can make significant strides towards unlocking the full potential of FinTech and shaping the future of financial services on a global scale.
